How it works

What happens after you tap request

  1. 01

Step 1: You send a day and a home size

The form takes about a minute. A ZIP code, a home size and a day is enough to start.

  2. 02

Step 2: Megan texts a price and a window

Megan Warner runs scheduling in Charlotte. You get the price for your home size and a two-hour arrival window within one business hour, Monday to Saturday. Reply to book it.

  3. 03

Step 3: You meet your team by text

The evening before, a message lists your team's first names, the arrival window and how they will get in.

  4. 04

Step 4: You get a checklist when we leave

A short list of what was cleaned and what we skipped, if anything. If we missed something, tell us within 24 hours and we come back to fix it.

Prices

A price for your home size, in writing before you commit

No quote call and no guessing. Pick your home size and see what a standard, deep or move-out clean includes.

Pets, how long it has been since the last clean and how often you book can move the number. When they do, we tell you which one did.

Every price includes

  • Your team's supplies and equipment

  • The checklist for your type of clean

  • A text with your price before you confirm

From the founder

Booking a clean should feel like booking anything else.

Cleaning companies made me call, wait for a callback and guess at the price. At Doorbell the day, the price and the team are in a text before anyone shows up.

We clean in Charlotte and in Raleigh–Durham. Each metro has its own scheduler, so your text is answered by someone who knows the neighborhood.

Sample reviews

What clients text back

“I booked from the train. Megan texted a window that afternoon and my team's names came the night before. The kitchen was done the way I'd written it in the notes.”

Ruchi S.Standard clean, every two weeks

“Our lease ended on a Friday and the move-out clean fit the morning. The checklist covered every room and flagged one blind they couldn't reach.”

Lamont J.Move-out clean, South End apartment

“Two dogs and a lot of pollen on the sills. The deep clean did the baseboards and the window tracks, and the text afterward said what they left alone.”

Questions

Before your first clean

How much does a clean cost?

It is priced by your home size. Pets, how long since the last clean and how often you book can move it, and we text you the exact price before you confirm.

Do I need to be home?

No. Tell us how to get in: you open the door, a lockbox or door code, or someone you name. Codes go only to the team on your visit.

Who comes to my home?

A team of two or three from the crews in your metro. The evening before, we text you their first names and the arrival window.

What if you miss something?

Tell us within 24 hours, with a photo if you can. We come back to redo the missed area. The terms are in our re-clean policy.

Do you bring your own supplies?

Yes. We bring supplies and equipment. Ask for fragrance-free products and we'll use them, and tell us about any surface that needs a gentler cleaner.

Ready when you are

We text back a price and an arrival window within one business hour.
